I know this is a couple months old now, but just in case you were flipping the dial, landed on TBN and felt an uncontrolable urge to write a check in faith or phone in a sacrificial seed on your credit card…
Paula White “God has spoken to you and right now I want you to obey that God is speaking to send in a sacrificial seed. He’s telling you an instruction of the Lord, an illogical instruction. Well, Paula you don’t understand. I’m telling you, I need to be obedient to the Lord. Cause God even spoke to people, their vacation money, savings, CD’s, and investments and you looked at it and said, ‘But God, this is it.’ And God spoke to you and He told you to sow that into the kingdom of God. And when you obey, that which God has promised to you shall come to pass.”
Creflo Dollar “…First of all, we don’t have two Rolls-Royces. And secondly, the one Rolls-Royce that was purchased was purchased by the donors, or the members of the church, and it was a surprise to me.”
Kenneth CopelandKenneth Copeland speaks in front of his jet he told his ministry would not be used for anything “not becoming to you Lord Jesus.”
Benny Hinn “I place a curse on every man and every woman that would stretch his hand against this anointing; I curse that man who dares to speak a word against this ministry… ”

I guess someone won’t be flying around with Copeland. I hear the jet flies on faith.

…Meanwhile, the Apostles and other faithful Christians suffered terribly, even unto martyrdom, were “hungry, oppressed, and mistreated”, “no more than foreigners and nomads here on earth.” For real Christian examples of faith, real role models, read Hebrews Chapter 11.

These people do great harm to the gospel and need to be called into accountability. Just yesterday, while sharing about my faith with a co-worker I had to plead with them not to base their assumptions of Christianity on what they see on TV.

Do you think they would respond in faith, and plant a seed, if I sent them a letter saying that God wants them to send a percentage of their “hard earned cash” to me?
I’m thinking… No.

When Jesus didn’t have a place to lay his head and when He sent Peter out to get a coin from a fish to pay taxes…and these heretics think they can fool God?
There is a pay day!

This could be the evening lineup for a “Christian” television channel like TBN.

This stuff burns me up. We’re supposed to love our brothers as well as our enemies. Question is, which are these people?
Plea by Michael Clary — March 6, 2008 @ 1:03 pm
Have one of these people ever said anthing like this: “God is speaking to me now, and He wants you to give a gift. Not to me or my ministry, but to your local church, the church you attend. He wants you to go this Sunday and give as much as you are able.”
